🌱 Winter (December – February)
✅ Bareroot Fruit Tree Planting: Ideal time to plant bareroot fruit trees — citrus, stone fruits, apples, and more.
✅ Prune Fruit Trees & Roses: Shape, remove deadwood, and encourage healthy spring growth.
✅ Grape Pruning: Traditional on St. Martin’s Day (Nov 11) through January.
✅ Bark / Mulch & Compost Refresh: Top up beds to insulate roots and improve soil.
✅ Reduce Irrigation: Cool temps mean less water is needed — adjust your system.
