Based in Oxnard, California, in the south of the state, we dispatch orders on Mondays and Tuesdays. This careful scheduling ensures that our plants are not delayed over the weekend, promoting their rapid transit and reducing stress from shipping.

We collaborate with UPS and the United States Postal Service to deliver your orders. Our aim is to minimize shipping costs for our customers while guaranteeing the safe transport of our plants.
Shipping & Handling Process 📦
Our nursery deals with plants that are often large and heavy. Shipping them is a complex, costly process that involves several steps:
Selecting the finest plants from our fields
Conducting inspections and quality checks
Cleaning & spraying plants
Applying labels
Organizing orders
Removing pots and excess soil
Encasing roots in bags
Affixing bamboo supports
Wrapping
Boxing & prepping packing materials.
Choosing top-grade packing materials, we ensure your plants are well-protected on their journey. Despite our efforts, shipping costs often exceed what we charge.
We pride ourselves on sending mature, robust plants, bigger than what you might find with other mail-order services. To lighten the load, we strip pots and shake off extra soil, keeping roots moist with a special plastic film.
Sometimes in order to fit in boxes, trimming branches is necessary, but we never compromise the plant's health. We meticulously package each plant, striving for their maximum protection during transit.
Shipping Information 🏡
If your local weather is extreme, notify us to hold your order. Think about using Heat Packs in colder months. 🥶🥵
If temperatures in your area soar above 90F, let us know to postpone shipping; otherwise, your plants risk overheating.
Ensure your package isn't left unattended outside. We cannot guarantee the survival of your plants without proper temperature management.
Upon arrival, plants require immediate potting and should be allowed to adjust in a mildly warm, brightly shaded spot for at least 24 hours, using a small pot with well-drained, moist soil.
Request FedEx Hold for a temperature-controlled environment, sparing your plants from the stress of fluctuating 🌡️temperatures. This means no worrying about packages left in the heat or cold.
We dispatch our plants across all 50 US states, though some areas have specific regulations. Arizona faces new USDA restrictions: we only ship seeds, not live plants, to this state.
Confirmation Email 📨
A valid email ensures you receive an automated message with your tracking info on the shipping day. USPS shipments will only include a delivery confirmation.
Transit Time ⏳
Expect a transit time of 2-5 business days. We ship out orders swiftly, often within days of receipt, although high demand may occasionally cause delays.
Special Delivery Instructions 💌
Special delivery instructions may be added to the shipping label if you desire, we recommend you keep them short and simple. However we cannot guarantee that the carriers will follow the instructions set on the label.

We notify our customers about any delays in our shipping schedule. Shipments may be delayed by us for the following reasons:
Weather is not permitting
Item is temporarily out of stock
Some high demand items may take additional time to be delivered from our other locations
Shipping Stress 😬
All plants after being in transit for a few days without light and water, exposed to temperature swings and handling, will experience stress. This is normal however plants should quickly be back to normal for tips on how to de-stress your plants click here.
Planting Instructions 🌿
Please remember that plants are living things and require your immediate attention upon their arrival. Please read our planting instructions.
Guarantee 🪴
Our guarantee covers the health of the plants we ship but not the challenges of transport or the errors in address details. Non-deliverable addresses or misplaced packages require your attention and action for resolution.
We take steps to safeguard plants in transit but cannot cover losses due to weather or incorrect care post-arrival. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you have any issues or concerns please feel free to contact us as soon.
Submitting Claims ✉️
If the box arrives damaged take pictures before opening. Also take pictures of any damage plants of concern📸
Claims for any damages must be made in writing within three days of delivery.
Contact ASAP. If you received a plant that got weak or broken - EMAIL us immediately, it may be saved, and we can help you!
Changes & Cancellations ➕➖
Order changes or cancellation. If you decide to change something in your order, add more items or cancel, you have to do so in writing: email . We do not accept any changes over the phone. If your order has been already packed, no changes can be made. If you decide to cancel the order, cancellation/restocking fees may apply (up to 10%).
Terms of Sale 🧾
We ensure all plants are healthy and accurately named upon dispatch. Out-of-stock items will be refunded. Dispatch days are Monday and Tuesday, and claims for damages need to include photographic evidence.
Immediate email communication is crucial for any issues. Our instructions aim to encourage successful planting and care, providing a satisfactory outcome for both the plant and you.

PayPal Purchases 💳
PayPal purchases over $200 necessitate a signature confirmation. This policy aims to secure your delivery but ensures you might need to collect your package if not home at the time of delivery.
