Are your plants grown organically/without pesticides? 🧑🌾
We use integrated pest Management teaming beneficial insects. When needed we will use organic pesticides such as insecticidal soap, neem oil, sulfur and microbial insecticides such as Bt and spinosad.Well we tried to be as organic as possible, we are not yet certified organic. We use a hybrid fertilizer program organic fertilizer as a primary but for slower growing plants we sometimes do use conventional fertilizer when organic is cost prohibitive for that crop. We hope to someday fully shift to a complete organic fertilizing program as we are able to grow and expand. However being a small business some of the quality organic fertilizers we hope to use are currently cost-prohibited based on the scale of our operation.
How do I care for my plants after they arrive? 🏡
When you receive your plants, you should carefully unpack them and inspect them for any damage or signs of stress. You should also check the soil moisture and water the plants if needed. Following the planting instructions that come with each order. You should also monitor your plants for the first few weeks and provide them with adequate water, light, and only fertilize after plants become established. Click here to see our planting guides.
How do you ship your plants? Shipping 📦
We ship our plants using the best methods available to ensure their health and safety. Depending on the type and size of the plant, we may use bare root, potted, or tray packaging. We also use appropriate packing materials, such as moist paper, bubble wrap, and cardboard boxes, to protect the plants during transit. We ship our plants via USPS, FedEx, or UPS, depending on the destination and delivery time.
What kinds of payments do you accept? 💰
We accept VISA, Master Card, Discover, PayPal, checks by mail, and cash at local sales events. Your credit or debit card will be charged upon placing your order. If we are unable to fulfill your order, we will refund your order and communicate this to you.
Do you offer any discounts or coupons? 🏷️
Yes, we do! We offer various discounts and coupons throughout the year to reward our loyal customers and attract new ones. You can find our current promotions on our website, social media, or by signing up to our email newsletter. You can also sign up for our email list and get 10% off your first order. To apply a discount or coupon, you just need to enter the code at checkout and the amount will be deducted from your total. Please note that some discounts and coupons may have expiration dates, minimum order amounts, or other restrictions.
Do you offer bulk/wholesale ordering?💲
We do offer wholesale for all licensed nurseries and licensed C-27 Landscaping Contractor's. We also offer bulk discounts for large-scale projects with a $1,000 minimum.
I’ve changed my mind, can I cancel my order? 🛒💸
You may cancel your order anytime before your order has shipped. Once plants have been shipped, we can no longer offer a refund. For order cancellations, a full refund will be issued back to the original payment method, minus a 10% restocking fee.
How do I return an order? 🪴
Because plants are living things, return shipping is not in the best interest of the plant. If you have any concerns about your order after you’ve received it, please contact us at contact@goodnaturedplants.com and we will work with you to come up with a solution on an individual basis.
My plants arrived damaged, now what?🧾📫
We do our best to package the plants to avoid damage to them in shipping, but some minor damage can be reasonably expected.If your plant sustains major damage, please contact us at contact@goodnaturedplants.com within 3 days of receiving your plants, and we will work with you to address your concerns.
Major damage is physical damage to the extent where you would not expect the plant to recover.
Photos must be provided of the plants as they arrived, specifically: 📸
The unopened package if visibly damaged
The plant(s) inside the opened package
The plant(s) after removal from the package
The reason we ask for photos is because we purchase shipping insurance through our shipping partners, and this evidence is required in order for us to submit a claim.
Do you have a warranty on your plants? 🌿
We guarantee that our plants are labeled correctly and are in good health when they leave the nursery. We do not guarantee that the plants will not be damaged in shipping, thrive, or be productive in your climate and growing conditions. There are many variables outside of our control after the plants leave the nursery, including soil type, climate, weather, irrigation practices, for which we will not be held responsible. However, if you suspect that your plants have sustained damage in transit, please contact us as soon as you reasonably can.
