Jonathan Burton is a passionate nurseryman with nearly a decade in the horticultural world. His journey began with a childhood dream of tasting exotic dragon fruit — a curiosity that bloomed into founding Good Natured Plants, his own nursery dedicated to edible and sustainable landscapes.

Jonathan sharpened his skills at Green Thumb International and by managing orchards across California, deepening his commitment to organic practices. In 2023, he earned his Permaculture Design Certification at Wheaton Labs and now helps Southern California homeowners cultivate beautiful, productive foodscapes filled with unexpected edible treasures — like the flowers you’ll discover in this book!
